Conard 15, Farmington 4: A speedy Conard team manhandled the Indians, 15-4. Goalie Karen Jorge made eight saves in goal in place of the injured Katie Brown, who was hurt in practice. The Indians fall to 1-10-1. The game with Joel Barlow was cancelled. 

Avon 5, Farmington 4: Liz Surette scored with 13:50 left in regulation and teammate Tricia Bell added two goals as Avon erased a 4-1 deficit to beat Farmington, 5-4 on Senior Day at the Indians' home field.

Farmington 7, Ledyard 2:
Farmington goalie Katie Brown made 12 saves in the second half as the Indians shutout Ledyard in the final 25 minutes to earn its first victory of the season on Friday, May 11 in Farmington with a 7-2 victory over Ledyard. Sarah Young, Jori Hales and Katie Walker scored for Farmington (1-7-1) in the second half. Hales finished with two goals and Brown finished with 15 saves in the contest. Ledyard (3-7) was so frustrated that the squad immediately left after the conclusion of the varsity contest, forfeiting the junior varsity game.

JUNIOR VARSITY 2001
The Farmington junior varsity squad finished with an 8-4 record. After dropping a season-opening game to Glastonbury, 7-5, Farmington ripped off five straight wins including a 14-0 win over Avon. Goalie Karen Jorge pitched the shutout against the Falcons. Sophomore Sarah Steinberg led the FHS squad in scoring with 8 goals while fellow sophomores Megan Clerkin had 7 goals and Serena Scanzillo scored six. Junior Steph Kaufman and sophomore Kate Andrews had four goals each.

FARMINGTON -- The Farmington High girls lacrosse team recently held its annual year-end banquet in the FHS cafeteria. Several awards were presented to the athletes on the three teams.
